My love for the Arts began when I followed in my brother’s footsteps, attending a local Art class with him at the age of 7. I learnt to paint with a range of mediums (watercolour, acrylic, then oil) over a period of 10 years. My deaf brother used Art to express himself when he found it difficult to use words, which had a profound impact on me to pursue an artistic route. This has allowed me to understand the necessity of communication and the importance of having a voice.

Having achieved an Academic Scholarship, I am currently studying three A Levels at Stonyhurst College, Clitheroe. I have been accepted into MMU and UAL to continue my study of the Fine Arts. Before University, I am taking up a Gap year position working at Penang International College, assisting the Art and Marketing departments.
